Currently I continue to work in mixed media using acrylic paint and collage paper. I like the texture and patterns that can develop, and also the element of surprise with found objects from nature that I introduce into each work.
The problem with browsing photos on the website with this type of art is that it is difficult to really see close-up the unique fusion of paint and dyed papers. The creation of each piece is never predictable and the viewer often needs to enjoy the search for what exists within the canvas. I try to include an image of detail along with each painting to help depict the individuality and surface textures of the work.
